Karolina Nevoina and I are pleased to announce availability of our working paper, "Further Evidence on the Meaning of Musical Performance". Special thanks to Professor Aaron Williamon and the Royal College of Music, Centre for Performance Science.…
My principal research interests are in modernist theatre practices, particularly in relation to visual art, puppetry, voice, and gesture (for example, in the work of Artaud, Kantor, Duras, Pane, Weibel, and Castellucci). My current PhD research is concerned with mimesis and death – with particular reference to Warburg, Benjamin, Barthes, and Didi-Huberman. Besides academic research I am also a theatre maker (and material can be accessed on my website: http://www.shunt.co.uk/mischa_twitchin).
