ContinueBOOOM! Making Research Memorable is an event held at Birmingham City University on behalf of Midlands 3 Cities.
It’s not just what you have to say, but how you say it that counts. Whether speaking at symposia, lecturing, or taking part in TEDx or PechaKucha events, we all need to get our ideas across with maximum impact. This day of workshops, exercises and talks is designed to inspire you and give you practical tools to take with you. You’ll remember this event a year afterwards…
Turner Prize-winner Martin Creed will demonstrate the performance of ideas in action, whilst other sessions will cover comedy and character (James Cook), breathing and meditation (Breathworks), voice and presence (Simon Ratcliffe), and memorisation and language (LiveCanon).
This event is linked to “How to play knowledge” conference, which will take place in the same venue on the 3rd July.
Full details are available at http://pgr-studio.co.uk/event/booom/
