Event Description

Dear all, I’m delighted to announce that there will be a “Philosopher-Artist” colloquium on the 3rd and 4th of May, organised by Eskişehir Anadolu University, Department of Philosophy, Turkey. I am greatly honored to have Monsieur Bruno Cany from University Paris 8 as an invited speaker on the occasion of his book Renaissance du Philosophe-Artiste. Essai sur la Révolution Visuelle de la Pensée (2014) translated and published in Turkish recently. The language of the colloquium will be Turkish and French and it is mainly on the theme “Philosopher-Artist”. I will also try to introduce the works of Performance Philosophy Network to the audience during my speech entitled “A different mode of philosophical thinking: What is performative philosophy?”. As a last activity, I will give a workshop on Performative Philosophy based on one of the discourses involved in my book Point of Contact. Discourses Touching Life (Published in Turkey). The name of the discourse I will use for this workshop is “Faces that cannot meet”. The workshop will be interactive. If you are somehow around Eskişehir, Turkey, you are all welcome. We will be greatly pleased to see you all. Here, in the image, you may find the title of all of the sessions in Turkish and French. Four of the participants are from the group "Society for Performative Philosophy in Turkey" in PP.
